Individual counseling is the process of developing a therapeutic relationship and trust with the client. The solution or solutions developed belong to the client; tools are suggested by the therapist; however, it is totally up to the client to apply those tools to their daily functioning. Whether you are experiencing anxiety, depression, or any other number of presenting problems, therapy can help. Differing therapeutic approaches are utilized based on the needs of the client and which would be more useful for their individual needs and comfort level. At times, we do need to get out of our comfort zone, and therapy can help you accomplish that.

Steps we take.
At our first session, we will get to know each other and together develop a plan to address everything you desire to address. We will discuss different modalities and start the healing process. There will be work involved, and sometimes it is not easy. Your therapist will be with you every step of the way.
